Privacy Policy
Mioum collects no data. The app has no account and no server: your meals stay on your devices and in your iCloud.
Your meals
The meals you add, with their photos, notes, links and tags, are saved on your device. If you’re signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs them to your account so you find them on your other devices. The developer has no access to them.
Deleting a meal or a household in Mioum erases it from your devices and from iCloud. If you remove the app, the iCloud copy stays and comes back when you reinstall: to erase everything, delete your households first.
Sharing
A shared household stays in the iCloud of the person who created it, and the people invited can see and edit it. Apple sends the invitations and manages the list of participants: Mioum doesn’t send their names or contact details anywhere. If you allow anyone with the link, anyone who has that link can join the household. You can remove someone or stop sharing in Settings, then Sharing.
Links and web pages
When you add a link or share a page to Mioum, the app downloads the page straight from its website to get its title and pictures. As with any visit, the website sees your device’s IP address. Nothing goes through the developer.
Photos
You choose photos with Apple’s photo picker: Mioum only receives the ones you select, never the rest of your library.
What isn’t collected
Mioum shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking. The app asks for no personal information and connects to no developer server. If you turned on “Share With App Developers” in iOS settings, Apple may send the developer anonymous statistics, such as crash counts.
The website and emails
The website mioum.piitaya.fr is hosted by Cloudflare, which briefly keeps technical data such as IP addresses to run and protect the site. Emails sent to mioum@piitaya.fr go through Cloudflare to the developer’s mailbox, and are kept as long as needed to reply. Both rest on the legitimate interest in running the site and replying to you. Cloudflare is a US company, and the transfer of this data to the United States is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Mioum is developed by Paul Bottein, in France, who is responsible for the little processing described here. You can view, edit or delete your meals at any time in the app. For any question, or to exercise your rights of access, correction or deletion, email mioum@piitaya.fr. You can also contact your data protection authority, which in France is the CNIL (cnil.fr).
